I am NOT about diets.. or restricting foods and f I am NOT about diets.. or restricting foods  and food groups.. but I do feel a sense of social responsibility to talk about this.  One reason plant based eating is an incredible way to eat is because of the numerous health benefits that come from eating more plant food and less animal products.  (This is often what I talk about as a dietitian!)  But it’s also ecologically and humanly responsible. With so much hunger in the world today and the cost of quality food only rising... we HAVE to acknowledge the impact our food choices have on the world.  Start small- try one meal, one day.. whatever.. to cut down on meat consumption.  I’m starting a “meatless Monday mania” each week- here’s what you have to do:
Go meatless for a meal and share it in a post or your stories and tag @graciouslynourished . I’ll share all of your meatless meals in my stories on Monday and you can use this to find new and exciting ways to include more meals featuring plant protein!  What do you think?? While milk has a 300mg of calcium (and vitamin D, which helps in the absorption of calcium), it’s FAR from the only way you can make sure your bones stay strong and healthy. ⁠(plus- some research has found that too much dairy may lead to bone DEmineralization)
