Healthy Resources for Busy Moms
Simple Solutions to Help You Feel Your Best
After years of figuring out what actually works for busy moms (through plenty of trial and error), I’ve pulled together my favorite resources that have made the biggest difference for both me and my clients. From my free meal planning guide to the kitchen tools I actually use daily, everything here is tested and mom-approved. No fluff, just practical stuff that makes healthy living easier.
Saving time in the kitchen
Walmart+
I use Walmart+ for most of my grocery shopping and last-minute needs (like when my son broke his only pair of tennis shoes at 7 pm and needed a pair for school the next day!) Sign up for a free 30-day trial and enjoy free same day delivery from your local Walmart and perks like Paramount+, free returns from home, savings on gas, and more! (aff. link)
GardenCup
If you’re looking for a quick, healthy meal without the prep work, Gardencup offers fresh, nutrient-packed salads and bowls, delivered to your door. Perfect for busy days when you want something fresh but don’t have time to chop, cook, or plan. Check out my full Gardencup review to see if it’s right for you. Don’t forget to use my link to get 20% off with the code KELSEYcup20!
Instacart
Grocery shopping with kids in tow or after a long day? Hard pass. Instacart lets you skip the store and get fresh groceries from a large selection of local stores delivered right to your door (or ready for pickup). My personal favorite is using it for Aldi Instacart orders, which save me from so much unnecessary spending in the Aldi Aisle of Shame (IYKYK).
Free Meal Plan
If figuring out what to eat feels like just another thing on your never-ending to-do list, this meal plan is for you. I put together three days of balanced, simple meals that take the stress out of eating—because busy moms don’t need one more decision to make. No complicated recipes, no hours in the kitchen, just easy, nourishing meals.
Make meal prep easier
Souper Cubes
Whether you’re batch cooking for busy nights, saving leftovers, or finally finding a way to store that extra tomato paste (because who ever uses the whole can?), Souper Cubes make freezing and reheating so easy. Just portion out soups, casseroles, or condiments into the silicone trays, freeze, and transfer to a freezer-safe bag or container. When it’s time to eat, ingredients are pre-portioned and ready to go! (Amazon affiliate link)
Ninja Foodi Possible Cooker Pro
I love this slow cooker because it does so much more than just slow cook. You can sauté right in the pot, bake in the oven up to 500°F, steam, warm, and even make bread—all with one appliance. I’ve used it for all of the above (and then some), and it’s totally worth the price if you want one countertop appliance that can do it all and make your life easier in the kitchen. Simple self-care
(because when mom is taken care of, everyone is taken care of!)
Headspace
Because of the never-ending to-do list in my brain (thanks ADHD), sitting still to meditate has always felt impossible. But adding Headspace to my daily routine has been a game-changer. Taking a few minutes to deep breathe with my morning coffee or listen to a guided meditation before bed has made such a difference in calming my brain down. And the ‘fall back to sleep’ meditations? They’ve literally saved me from starting my day at 2 a.m. more times than I can count! Plus, you can try it free for 14 days to see if it’s a good fit before investing in the program. Yoga with Adriene
As a busy mom who’s always lived at least 20 minutes from a gym, I’m all about finding ways to move at home—especially when it’s free. This YouTube channel is a favorite of mine because it has something for every mood and need, whether it’s a gentle bedtime flow, a quick morning stretch, or a full-body session. Plus, Adriene’s personality makes it feel like you’re practicing with a friend. If you want to build strength and flexibility without leaving your living room, this is a great place to start!
