In this Belli Welli review, I’ll break down the ingredients, nutrition facts, and health claims, plus share my own experience trying the bars and drink mixes. By the end, you’ll know whether Belli Welli is worth the price and if it’s a good fit for you.

What is BelliWelli?
BelliWelli was created in 2020 by Katie Wilson in response to a personal need for an IBS-friendly product to support her own gut health. The company started with BelliWelli bars, a plant-based, gluten-free snack bar with probiotics and free from sugar alcohols and other ingredients that can exacerbate IBS symptoms.
In April 2025, BelliWelli stopped making its bars to focus solely on drink mixes that make it easier for people with sensitive digestive systems to support a healthy gut microbiome.
BelliWelli fiber powders include probiotics, collagen, fiber, and electrolytes. They’re available in several flavors and are gluten-free and free from sugar alcohols and other FODMAPS.
The drink mixes can be ordered on the website as a one-time order or as a subscription. They can also be found in Target, Walmart, and GNC stores.

BelliWelli ingredient breakdown
Here’s what you’ll find in BelliWelli drink mixes:
Fiber
Each scoop has 4 grams of fiber (or 3.5, rounded up to 4. It’s hard to tell from the labeling!). This provides 14% of the recommended daily value of fiber, making it a high-fiber beverage. Acacia fiber is a soluble fiber that’s been shown to improve satiety, reduce constipation symptoms in people with IBS-C, and support a diverse gut microbiome.
A recent in vitro study published in the Journal of Animal Science suggests that because acacia fiber is moderately fermentable, it has the potential to support a diverse gut microbiome with less gas production than pectin or inulin, other forms of fiber often added to drink mixes and foods.
So if gut-health drinks like Poppi or Olipop upset your stomach or cause gas or bloating, you may better tolerate BelliWelli since the fiber source is more gentle on the stomach.
Collagen
Each serving has 2 grams of protein from the addition of bovine collagen peptides. This is added as part of the outer beauty blend. One small study of women between the ages of 30 and 60 had significant improvements in hydration, peeling, elasticity, and wrinkling after supplementing with 1.65 grams of collagen peptides daily (just under what’s included in a serving of BelliWelli) for 4 to 12 weeks, when compared to the placebo group.
While research on collagen and skin health is mixed, a large 2023 meta-analysis found that supplementing with oral collagen may improve skin hydration and elasticity.
Probiotic (B. coagulans MTCC 5856)
Each serving of BelliWelli contains 1 billion CFU of a probiotic with specific benefits to gut health and digestion. In one small study, participants with chronic gas and bloating who took 2 billion CFU of B coagulans MTCC 5856 daily for four weeks had significant improvements in their digestion scores compared to the group who received a placebo.
Organic cane sugar
Many artificial sweeteners and non-nutritive sweeteners often found in functional drink mixes come with a risk of increased gas and bloating. To make the drinks taste sweet without using sugar alcohols, BelliWelli uses a small amount of cane sugar.
Natural flavors
Natural flavors are compounds that come from “natural” sources like fruit, vegetables, spices, herbs, or animal products. While they are often subject to a process like distillation, fermentation, or chemical extraction, they’re distinctly different from artificial flavors, which are synthesized in a lab environment.
Malic acid and citric acid
Both are organic acids found in fruits and vegetables that are added to foods to enhance a fruity, tart, or sweet flavor. They may also help improve shelf life by increasing the acidity of a product.
Bamboo leaf extract
Bamboo leaf extract has potent antioxidant and antimicrobial properties and contains silica, which may support healthy hair, skin, and bones by strengthening collagen.
Stevia leaf extract
Adds extra sweetness to keep the added sugars down. Some people may find stevia to have a distinct, slightly bitter taste.
Colors
You’ll find beta-carotene, turmeric oleoresin, and spirulina extract to help naturally color the drink mix powders.
My experience with BelliWelli
I have to say, I truly enjoy drinking a glass of BelliWelli. I have tried the strawberry lemonade, tropical breeze, and mystery flavor, and really loved each one (tropical breeze was my personal fav).
I don’t love super sweet drinks, so mixing one scoop in a 24-ounce tumbler with ice water has been a good ratio of water to mix for me. I think if I added the mix to a 16-ounce water bottle, it would be too sweet and I wouldn’t enjoy it as much.
But be warned: If you stir BelliWelli into a glass, it will be clumpy! I’ve avoided this by adding it to a big water bottle and shaking it well before drinking it. When shaken, I don’t find residue at the bottom of the bottle, but stirring will leave big clumps behind.
With 3 grams of fiber and 2 grams of collagen (protein), it’s more filling than water, but not going to stave off hunger or replace a snack. If you let it sit for too long, I’ve found it just slightly thickens up, too, thanks to the collagen. But if I drink it down within 30 to 60 minutes, I don’t notice a difference in the texture.
As for digestive effects, I already have a diet that’s rich in fiber, take a probiotic, and eat plenty of gut-healthy foods, so I can’t say it’s made much of a difference. However, the drink mix packs have been a game-changer for staying regular while traveling, since when I’m out of my home environment, my fiber intake typically tanks.
BelliWelli Pros
It’s third-party tested and transparent about ingredients
BelliWelli is tested by a third-party and is free from any “proprietary ingredients,” which means full transparency in what you’re getting in each container. As a dietitian, I tend to mostly (only) use supplements that have been third-party tested or are from reputable brands.
Since this is a startup company, the dedication to testing each product through an outside, unaffiliated lab adds a significant amount of trust in the product and brand.
The formula is gentle on digestion
With 3 to 4 grams of fiber per serving and no sugar alcohols, this drink mix helps support digestion without the addition of bloating, gas, or cramping that some people may experience from too much fiber or high FODMAP ingredients.
The specific probiotic used also supports a healthy gut microbiome, which may help reduce gas and bloating for some people.
Portable options are great for travel
Their economical pack has 16, 32, or 64 servings, but you can purchase the on-the-go packs to enjoy on the go. I really like this option as I rarely have difficulty eating enough fiber when I’m home, but always struggle with fiber and hydration when I’m traveling. The travel sticks are convenient for stashing in your purse, car, or bag.

What could be better
It could be out of the budget
Expect to pay $1.43 per serving, which can add up if you’re drinking multiple drinks per day. Even though you can get most of the benefits of this drink through everyday foods, the price is actually comparable to other functional drink mix packets.
Sweeteners may not suit everyone
You’ll find just 2 grams of added sugar in each serving, which is just 4% of the recommended limit for added sugar in a day. Since that’s not enough to fully sweeten this drink mix, you’ll also find stevia leaf extract.
While I don’t find the addition of stevia in these drinks to be bitter, some people are sensitive to the taste and may not find it appealing.
It’s hydrating, but not enough for a ‘hydration’ drink
BelliWelli does support hydration by helping you drink a big glass of liquid and providing some electrolytes, including 18% DV magnesium, 3% DV sodium, and 2% DV potassium. However, it’s not going to rehydrate you after a long, sweaty workout or a bout of sickness.
Hydration beverages typically have large amounts of sodium (and smaller amounts of other electrolytes) to replace what you lose in sweat, vomit, or loose stool. This drink is best for everyday hydration needs.
