Making naan pizza is the best way to keep everyone happy, the vegetarians, pineapple lovers, and meat lovers alike. It's easy to tailor each pizza to everyone's taste. How many other meals can be 3-4 different meals in one?
WHAT IS NAAN BREAD?
Naan bread is a leavened oven baked flatbread that is traditional in many Asian, Indian, and Middle Eastern cuisines. While it is used for many traditional dishes, this bread makes a fantastic substitute for many Americanized foods as well.
Common ingredients in naan are water, flour, eggs, buttermilk, oil, baking powder, and salt. Ingredients can vary by brand though, as does size.
Naan comes in several sizes. The size I used for this recipe was 4.5 oz slices. Popular brands make mini naan as well as some sizes in between. Just adjust the amounts of ingredients as needed based on the size of naan you use.
HOW TO MAKE NAAN BREAD PIZZA
1.Bake the Bread prior to adding toppings until the top . is just beginning to crisp. This prevents the bread from getting soggy under the weight and moisture of the ingredients.
2. Add your Toppings of choice.
3. Bake the pizzas for 5-7 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the crust is as crispy as you like it to be! (I’m a REAL crispy crust fan, so I’m usually hitting the 8-9 minute mark).

HAWAIIAN PIZZA
This is my ABSOLUTE favorite kind of pizza. If you are not a pineapple on pizza person, then I’m just not sure about you (but I’ve still got you covered with some other awesome toppings!)..
Pineapple Feel free to use whatever type of pineapple you enjoy. I like using crushed canned pineapple since you can get a little pineappl-y flavor in every single bite, but fresh or canned chopped works too!
Bacon A little goes a long way with me, and the salty crunch is the best compliment to the sweet pineapple. Save some time and cook, chop, and freeze bacon ahead of time so you always have a little on hand!
Red Onion Sorry white onion fans, the red ones win out here. Besides the fun color pop, the flavor is the perfect complement to this pizza.
CAPRESE PIZZA
Fresh Mozzarella Why yes, I did add “fresh” in front of every ingredient because that is exactly what this pizza is! Sub the shredded moz cheese for fresh slices. You will notice and appreciate the creamy and delicious difference it brings to this pizza!
Fresh Basil Leaves Don’t go subbing the dried stuff here. I grow my own basil plant for this exact reason- fresh basil wins out every time. Super important tip here: Don’t add the basil until the last minute or two of baking. If you bake the basil too long it will become a shriveled mess. It will have just enough delicious wilt after only a minute in the oven.
Fresh Roma Tomato Slice these babies thin and add them in lieu of the pizza sauce. If you like it saucy, you can add a couple tablespoons of sauce under the rest of the ingredients (this is what I do- I love my sauce!).
MEAT LOVERS PIZZA
Bacon To make mealtime easier, get that bacon cooked and chopped ahead of time and read to go!
Ham If you have thick cut bacon, use it. Otherwise just take a few slices of lunchmeat ham and dice it up!
Pepperoni Regular or turkey, both work here!
FAQ, TIPS, TRICKS FOR 15 MINUTE NAAN PIZZA
CAN YOU MAKE PIZZA ON NAAN BREAD IN AN AIR FRYER?
YES!
Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may have to use mini naan for it to fit in the basket.
Preheat the air fryer to 370 degrees. Precook the naan bread for 2-3 minutes. Follow the steps above to create your pizzas and place in the air fryer for an additional 6-7 minutes until it is as crispy as you like!
CAN YOU FREEZE NAAN BREAD PIZZA?
Yes! This is maybe the easiest, healthiest, and freshest way to enjoy a frozen pizza with literally zero prep time! Buy a few extra slices of naan bread or a pack of mini breads to make some for the freezer while you make a couple for dinner one night. Your future self will thank you.
